Adam KokEast Griqualand Museum
The museum of Kokstad is a National Monument. It documents the history of the Griqua people and of the town.
The East Griqualand Museum lies in Main Street 104 and is open during the week from 9 am to 4 pm. Very friendly, dedicated staff. Tel (039) 7976600.

St. Patrick Catholic Cathedral
The Catholic cathedral lies in Hope Street. It was built in 1884. Tel (039) 7272273.

Adam Kok's Monument
The monument of the Griqua leader stands in Hope Street next to the police station. Tel (039) 7479077.

Mount Currie Nature Reserve
Adam Kok's LaagerThis nature protection area lies 5 km north of Kokstad on a dam. In the reserve one can go on hikes and in summer do watersports. Adam Kok's Laager is also situated in the reserve.
